Twitter Two-Factor Authentication is Obvious-And Necessary by Lance Ulanoff

After hearing alot lately about Twitter accounts being hacked I thought it was interesting that i stumbled upon this article.

I think it is interesting that the author points out how all the hacked acounts were verified.

What do most of the hacked Twitter accounts have in common? They were all “verified.”

What is “verified,” you ask? According to Twitter, it means you are who you say you are.

Check out the whole article here and see what changes should and need to be made to secure verified twitter acounts.

  1. I didnt know that twitters were getting hacked. I feel like am sites with personal sign in can be hacked, I dont reallt think it is that big of a deal if your social media gets hacked. You can also go on a delete the tweets and then make a new password. The only problem would be if your social medias were all connected to one another.
