I found this article interesting because it calls out the way we handle what “self” is now. It basically criticizes how we now have to put more effort in to our online personas and selling our skills, and talents online and that we market ourselves online to whoever will listen. This quote stood out to me: “These new, social media enhanced, visible selves, are no longer just versions of who we are, but they have become the essence of who we are.”
I think there are so many ways that we can use Internet and social media to our benefit as artists in our careers but there is definitely a change in society and I wonder how much it will continue to change human interaction.
